This 2 month old song was played for the first time New Years Eve 1991, presented here. Pete, amazed by the crowd (ie stagefreight), and unsure of the new lyrics, still delivers a powerful performance. As a result of Peter's appearance at Paris on the Platte, the coffee house was banned from live music performances by the local musicians union, of which Pete was not a part of.
Bestfriend (snippet)
Recorded in 1999 at a sold out house in Denver's Bluebird theater, a patron brandished a gun and melee ensued - Pete -unaware of the situation - starts the next song. The event is captured here from an audience tape.
